Even when my closet can’t possibly fit another pair, I always manage to justify buying new boots. Out of all my footwear, my boots are my most beloved, whether they be pointy-toed and kitten-heeled, or lug-soled and hardware-heavy.

I almost thought my collection was complete, but a recent online shopping black hole brought to my attention the best boots at Nordstrom, Zara, and Revolve—the holy trinity of footwear, if you will—and suddenly I’m thinking I might need a few more pairs to start the new year off right.
